Access to funded beds is managed by Central Intake of Fraser Health Authority. (Tel: 604-592-4950) The BC Ministry of Health subsidizes the fee for your care at DLEC. Residents are required to pay a portion of their care at rates set by Fraser Health Authority.

Arrangements for Private Pay accommodations are arranged directly with DLEC. Currently the rates for private beds are: $185/day in DVH, and $185/day in DLEC.

A detailed interdisciplinary assessment is done shortly after admission and quarterly or as needed thereafter and a care plan is developed for each resident. An integral part of developing the care plan is Resident & Family input. This plan is reviewed in an interdisciplinary care conference on a quarterly basis to ensure optimal care is provided at all times.

Instead of living inside the facility, some clients may come to the Cross Roads Adult Daycare program to receive professional care service, participate in activities such as exercises, games, and music therapy. The cost to clients is $82 per day by private arrangement, or $8 per day when funded by Fraser Health Authority, plus Handy Dart transportation charge of $2 each way. The daycare operation hour is from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday except holidays.
